APPENDIX B <br />SITE SAFETY AND HEALTH PLAN <br />REMOVALOF TWO UNDERGRUNDSTORAGE <br />c' <br />INSTALLATION <br />OF ONE ABOVEGROUND <br />BUILDING <br />It is Geofon, Inc. (Geofon) intent to provide a safe work environment for employees, <br />government personnel and subcontractors. This Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP) has been <br />developed to fulfill the following objectives: <br />1. Instruct employees and subcontractors on procedures to minimize the potential for <br />injury or exposure to a hazardous condition. <br />2. Train employees and subcontractors on the proper action to be taken if a <br />hazardous condition cannot be avoided by engineering controls <br />3. Provide guidelines for emergency response for known hazards and hazardous <br />situations. <br />4. Specify actions required to comply with applicable (a) Occupational Safety and <br />Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and (2) State and local regulations or <br />other requirements. <br />These health and safety requirements are developed in accordance with requirements and <br />guidelines of the OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.120, California Code of Regulations, Title 8, <br />Section 5192, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Resource Conservation <br />1 <br />
