Each day prior to <br />commencing work, a safety meeting shall be held to discuss safety considerations for the day and <br />work to be performed. A safety topic shall be addressed each day from the following list: <br />• Site Safety and Health Plan (first day, and once a week thereafter) <br />• Site Emergency Procedures <br />• Fire Fighting Techniques <br />• Decontamination <br />• Levels of Protection <br />• Heat Stress <br />• Emergency Equipment on Site <br />• Back Care <br />• Respirator Maintenance (if necessary) <br />A copy of the daily safety tailgate meeting form will be provided to the COR along with <br />the daily QC summary reports. <br />4.7 MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE <br />All Geofon employees participate in the Medical Surveillance Program. The Geofon <br />Medical Surveillance Program is in full compliance with the requirements of OSHA Standard 29 <br />CFR 1910.120 and CCR Title 8, Section 5192. Employees undergo examinations upon <br />employment, annually, at termination, and, if deemed necessary, when exposed to high levels of <br />hazardous materials. A licensed physician who is certified in Occupational Medicine by the <br />American Board of Preventative Medicine performs the examinations. <br />18 <br />
