The permit has been approved <br /> with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for <br /> any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Stacy Rivera at (209) 468-3440 to arrange the following inspection appointments (a <br /> 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that inspections for <br /> emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval. <br /> a. Sensor functionality of the UDC 3/4 brine sensor: Functionality of the monitoring system <br /> must be verified to ensure that monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of <br /> Title 23 California Code of Regulations and the Health & Safety Code. If it is determined <br /> that a cold start is necessary, a copy of the alarm history shall be printed prior to <br /> performing the "cold start" of the Veeder Root system and made available at the time of <br /> EHD inspection. <br /> b. Leak detector test of the diesel leak detector: Leak detector must be tested to confirm that <br /> the device can detect a leak of 3 gallons per hour at 10 psi. <br /> c. Visual inspection of the gasket on the vent sump. <br /> d. Visual verification of brine level in the 87 fill sump. <br /> e. Verification of communication in the 87 fill sump annular space <br /> 4. Any individual performing the work of a service technician must meet the following <br /> qualifications: <br /> a. Possess or be employed by a person who possesses one of several permissible valid, <br /> current contractor's licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board (may be issued <br /> to the installation company), or a Tank Tester's license issued to the individual by the State <br /> Water Board, and <br /> b. Possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically <br /> present at the work site who possesses a valid, current California UST Service Technician <br /> certificate issued by the International Code Council (ICC), and <br /> 1868 E.
