(WestemFG) products are carefully engineered and designed <br />for their intended use. Substantial safety margins are designed into all products to insure <br />complete and safe performance during their long service life. Additionally, all products are <br />third party tested/evaluated and /or are Listed by the appropriate Listing Organizations. <br />Independent third party testing/evaluation is done by Engineering Groups or Corporations, <br />Test Companies or Educational Organizations. Typically, independent third party testing is <br />done upon introduction of a product or after any product revision or design change has <br />occurred. Third party testing is a "One Time" testing program done to confirm the <br />performance specifications and durability of a new or redesigned product. <br />Listed products undergo the same type of testing programs as third party tests. Unlike <br />third party testing, Listed product production lines and product samples are re -inspected <br />and re -tested on a regular basis, usually every three to four months. Listed products are <br />placed into categories: Co -Flex is in the U. L. piping category UL 971, Listed under ULC <br />(Canada) and ERA (International Piping Specifications I P., Institute of Petroleum and <br />S.I.P.C., SHELL International Piping Specifications). These Listing categories contain <br />specific tests and performance standards that all similar products must meet. <br />Western Fiberglass, Inc. U. L.-U.L.C. and ERA Listings are "Stand Alone" Listings. <br />Unlike other manufacturers who have Listed their products as "Systems" rather than <br />individual components. This means you do not have to use every component from the <br />same manufacturer. You can use our piping with the tank sumps that came with the tank, <br />you can use our sumps with other peoples' pipe etc. With "System" type Listings, if you <br />substitute ANY component, you LOSE your Listing ! ! ! ! <br />Additional or detailed testing data is available upon request.
