Feb . 1 . 1999 12: 22PM 209-943-5D59 No-7951 P 4 <br /> HENDERsoN CoNmucnm L4cen4o#721876 <br /> 2080 East Fremont Street Phone:(209)W-5058 <br /> Stockton, CA 95205-5057 Fax; (209) 943-5059 <br /> Phase I – Work Plan <br /> Underground piping assessment <br /> Arco, 2908 Benjamen Holt Drive, Stockton, CA 95207 <br /> - Fence the site area that will be worked on to ensure that safety requirements <br /> have been met, <br /> - Saw and break the asphalt &concrete over the Premium 10,000 gallon Tank <br /> and Product <br /> in from the edge of the Tank Slabs to the edge of Dispenser <br /> Islands <br /> - Remove Check Valves at the Turbine <br /> Blow back Product to Tanks <br /> Pressure up Product Lines at the Dispenser Shear Valve Port& <br /> bI ow Product back to Tanks by using nitrogen. <br /> Pressure up Lines with nitrogen 3PSI before hand dinging begins (this will <br /> verify existing condition of pipe and will locate any damage that occurs during <br /> excavation) <br /> Hand excavate to expose the top of the Premium Tank and <br /> Around the Product Pipe Lines for clear visual access. <br /> - Disconnect each Product Line at the Turbine, thon test to75 PSI through Port <br /> in Shear Valve <br /> - Close (cap) each Shear Valve at Product Dispenser <br /> - Under the supervision of a Professional Engineer: <br /> —Product Lines will then be tested by Nitrogen hydrostatically at <br /> 110% of the operaton pressure, but not lose than 76 PSI <br /> —During the Air test, all joints and pipe will be sufficiently soaked by <br /> in liquid soap and water, and Inspected for leeks: Pressure <br /> will be left on 1br at least one hour to see if pressure holds <br /> A precision test will be administered upon completions of Phase 2, <br /> The entire <br /> ® will remain exposed, but bai?ka&d by a 6'high <br /> fbnce� unOt the completion of Phwe 2. <br />
