REHS <br />Re: ARCO 2133, 2908 W Benjamin Holt Drive, Stockton, CA 95207 (SR0063748) <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br />the application for a permit to install a new monitoring panel and vapor condensate trap on the <br />underground storage tank (UST) system at the above noted address. The permit has been <br />approved with the following conditions: <br />1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br />District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br />2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br />prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br />3. Contact Garrett Backus at (209) 468-2986 to arrange the following inspection <br />appointments (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). <br />a. Slope inspection on the suction line secondary containment between the condensate <br />trap sump and the turbine sump. The slope must drop toward the turbine sump. <br />b. Inspection of UL labeling on installed components including piping, condensate trap <br />and condensate trap sump. ANY PART/PRODUCT NOT MARKED WITH THE UL <br />LABEL OR ANOTHER LISTED TESTING ORGANIZATION WILL BE REJECTED. <br />c. Before backfill, suction line secondary piping soap test and one hour pressure test <br />per manufacturer's guidelines. If there are no manufacturer's guidelines, test shall <br />be performed using an applicable method specified in an industry code or <br />engineering standard. <br />d. Before backfill, 24-hour hydrostatic test (or equivalent) on the condensate trap sump <br />and the 87 product turbine sump. <br />e. After backfill, secondary containment testing of the suction line, 87 product tank, <br />condensate trap sump and the 87 product turbine sump. <br />f. Verify functionality of the condensate trap liquid sensor and the condensate trap <br />sump liquid sensor. <br />g. Sensor functionality: Testing of all liquid sensors. Functionality of the monitoring <br />system must be verified to ensure that monitoring has been restored to meet the <br />requirements of Title 23 California Code of Regulations and the Health & Safety <br />Code. A copy of the alarm history shall be printed prior to replacing the Veeder <br />Root system and made available at the time of EHD inspection. <br />
