Since the vapor condensate trap is
designed to hold fuel the secondary containment sump should be included in the 3 -year testing. I am including
LG 169 which discusses vapor condensate traps.
The results include data for three piping runs. Since there is a product piping transition sump, there should be
five results for five piping runs. Another possibility is that jumper lines were installed in the transition sump to test
the product lines at one time, producing the three results. Tank-tek needs to add notes and/or a map to the
results to clarify what was tested.
Please notify my department of any future testing dates of the vapor condensate trap sump and the product
secondary piping.
Thank you,
Garrett Backus
Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
600 E Main Street, Stockton CA 95202-3029
telephone: (209) 468-2986
fax: (209) 468-3433
email:backus s'c,, ehd.com
http;gwww.gp,%.prgkkOrograms/-Others/unified.htm
7/27/2011
