HAMMER LANE <br /> STOCKT©NY CA 95209 STOCKTON., CA 95209 <br /> i <br /> In late 1983, the Governor signed into law A82013 and 1362„ These Bills require <br /> the inventory, inspection and permitting of all Underground storage tanks that <br /> contain hazardous materials. The San Joaquin Local Health District, Division <br /> of Envi.ronmental, Health was designated as the enforcement agency for the <br /> cities and unincorporated areas within fan .Joaquin County. State law provides 441 <br /> for a fee system to cover the cost or implementing this state mandateda <br /> program. <br /> Local fees (see attached Fee Schedule) , for these required inspectional <br /> services, will be billed on a yearly basis. The facilities Permit. to Operate }. <br /> will be issued for a. five year period. In addition to the yearly '. <br /> inspectional fee, this statement will also include a $56/tank. State surcharge <br /> fee. The State surcharge fee per tank will be charged every five years or <br /> whenever -the facilities permit is renewed or amended. All State surcharge <br /> fees will be transmitted by the Health District to the California Water <br /> Resources Control Board. <br /> To apply for a facilities Permit to Operate, complete the attached Fee <br /> Worksheet and submit the appropriate fees. Fees are due and payable February <br /> 3, 1986. Fees received after, March 6, 1986 are subject to 100"%„ penalty. <br /> In order to answer any questions regarding this Underground Storage Tank <br /> program, the San Joaquin Local Health Distict Division of. Environmental Health <br /> has scheduled the following information workshops: <br /> 1. Thursday, January 30, 1986, 10 AM <br /> 2. Monday, February 3, 1986, 2 PM 5; <br /> 3. Tuesday, February 11, 1986, 2 PM <br /> All of the above informational workshops will be conducted at the San Joaquin <br /> Local Health District Board Room, 1601 E. Hazelton Ave. , Stockton, CA. Due to <br /> limited space, these workshops wil be limited to the first 200 persons per <br /> meeting. <br /> IF you have any questions regarding this, please contact C.
