Wallin, Fleet Services Management Analyst <br />Subject: Return To Compliance Certification. <br />Reference: "Underground Storage Tank (UST) Program Inspection Report", dated March 27, 2008, for <br />our facility at 1810 E. Hazelton Ave., Stockton. <br />❑ Item 4: Certification of Financial Responsibility cover letter now in binder on-site (see Financial <br />Responsibility letter attachment) <br />❑ Item 18: The County contracted with Bagley Enterprises, Inc. to replace the existing manhole <br />hole cover with a new like item with inspection ports. New manhole cover to be compatible with <br />fill buckets to facilitate filling of buckets to 1.5" of top for annual testing. As of this writing the <br />work has been accomplished and pre -tested. Testing by a third party tester is scheduled for 2:30 <br />p.m. on May 8, 2008. <br />❑ Item 21: Water found in the diesel sump was determined to be waste water by UST operator, <br />Rick Tirapelle. The waste water was placed into a 55 gallon barrel and disposed of by Evergreen <br />Environmental Services (see Evergreen Environmental Services attachment and pictures) <br />❑ Item 25: Vendor received permit from EHD to combine repairs for items 18 & 25 <br />❑ Item 36: Contracted maintenance personnel have been reminded and have given assurance of their <br />understanding as to the requirements outlined by CCR, Title 23, section 2630 (D). <br />o "Sensors must be installed and maintained so they are capable of detecting leaks at the <br />earliest possible opportunity.
