Adak UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK W RESPONSE —PAGE 2 VL REPORTING AND RECORD KEEPING We will reportirecord any oveffill,spill,or mundharized release firom a UST system as indicated in this plan. Recordable : Any unauthorind release from primary contamment which the UST operator is able to clean up within eight(8)hours aft the release was detected or should reasonably have bow detected,and which not escape fimn secondary containment,does not increase the hazard of fire or explosion,and does not cam any deterioration of secondary containment,must be recorded in the facilitys monitoring records. include: ➢ The UST operstoes name and telephone number; A A list of the types,quantities,and concentrations ofhazardous substances re A A description of the actions taken to control and clean up the rel A The method and location ofilisposal ofthe released hazardous substances,and whethera hazardous waste manifest was or will be used; A A description ofactions taken to repair the UST and to prevent fisure releases; A A description ofthe method used to reactivate'interstitial mondoring after replacement or repair ofprimary containment. Reportable Releases- Any 1,spill,or unauffionzed release winch escapes from secondary containment(or primary conhunment if no secondary containment exists),'mcrease&dw hazard of fire or explosion,or cinaes any deterioration of secondary containment,is a reportable release. Reportablereleases ate also recordable. Within 24 hours after ale release has been detected,or should have been detected,we will notify the local agency adrimusternig the UST program of the the release,-and take munediate measures to stop the rdease If necessary,or if required by the local agency,remaining stored product1waste will be removed from the UST toprevent further releases orfacilitate corrective action. If an emergency exists,wewill notify the State Office ofEntergency Service.
