OCT 18 2002 11:06RM SS M 209 48349 p.5
,
AN
7. Can these repairs bel done if the penetration angle is greater than 15 degrees?
Yes. The Inservice
Repair Boots can seal any penetration angle. The usual culprit is the
conduit entry fitting sometimes with a penetration angle of 60 degrees and up. The Repair
Boot is attached to Cie sump wall and fitted with a plug that has been drilled with a hole
saw to match the pipe size and penetration angle.
8. Can the repairs be dne when two conduit pipes are penetrating the sump wall at odd angles
next to each other?
Absolutely. A large service Repair Boot will be used with a large plug and drilled to
match the off angles nd dual penetrations.
9. Will the Inservice Repair Boots seal polyethylene sumps?
Yes. Inservice Repan Boots will seal both fiberglass and polyethylene sumps provided the
sump wall has been roperly prepared.
10. Do I really need trairii
Yes. Factory Trainin is required to cover safety, pipe identification, entry fitting
identification, part ap lication, sealant delivery, pneumatic gun and equipment. When field
complexities are deall with through proper training, customer satisfaction will rise and job
orders will result.
11. The SSI Gun is expe*ve. Do I really need it?
Yes. The SSI Pneumatic Delivery Gun, G30B, is the field proven delivery tool for the 30 -
ounce Seal -rite cartridges. SSI has tested other guns and created our own guns and
delivery system thata failed miserable until the creation of the G30B. The GJOB is small
and compact to make ump entry fitting repairs in confined space easier and faster.
12. Won't a less expensiv4 gun work?
No. A less expensive n will not deliver the Seal -Tice at the needed PSI to setd all water
intrusion paths. Only a G30B, specifically designed to deliver Seal-Tite, will work for
SSI repairs, eliminatin installer frustration and increasing customer satisfaction.
13. How long before a hyciostatic test can be performed?
The hydrostatic test be started 90 minutes after repairs are completed.
