The chain <br /> was replaced by the service technician. Ensure that all monitoring equipment is maintained to detect a leak at the <br /> earliest opportunity. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 309 CCR 2636(f)(1) Monitoring in sump/ UDC failed to activate an audible and visual alarm or stop the flow product. <br /> The Bravo box float and chain in the 5/6, 11/12 and 9/10 UDCs failed to stop the flow of product at the dispenser <br /> when tested. The 91 product in UDC 5/6 was found with the chain off, 87 product float and chain in UDC 6/5 and <br /> 11/12 were adjusted by the technician, 91 product float and chain in UDC 11/12 and 9/10 were adjusted by the <br /> technician and the diesel product float and chain in UDC 9/10 was replaced by the technician. All monitoring <br /> equipment shall be maintained to activate an audible and visual alarm or stop the flow of product at the dispenser <br /> when it detects a leak. The service technician verified functionality after the adjustments and replacement. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by January 13, 2018. <br /> Note: When they fail testing, spill buckets for the 87 and 91 fill shall be replaced with a spill bucket that has a <br /> minimum capacity of 5 gallons, is protected from galvanic corrosion, and has either a drain valve which allows <br /> drainage of the collected spill into the primary container or provides a mean to keep the spill container empty <br /> pursuant to CCR, Title 22, section 2635(b)(1). <br /> Kristopher Bell did not have his Bravo certification for the replacement of the float and chain, it will be provided <br /> through email once his records are found. <br /> Please be aware that as of January 1, 2014, facility operators are required to upload the following UST program <br /> documents into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS): UST Monitoring Site Plan, UST <br /> Certification of Financial Responsibility, UST Response Plan, UST Letter from Chief Financial Officer (if <br /> applicable), and the Owner Statement of Designated Operator Compliance.
