The following items must be submitted and <br />deficiencies/discrepancies must be corrected prior to approval: <br />1. Buoyancy calculations must be submitted. Calculations must be performed and stamped <br />by a Professional Engineer or Licensed Architect. <br />2. A cross-section drawing of the proposed underground storage tanks, showing overfill <br />prevention and striker plates must be submitted. <br />3. A drawing of the vent transition from underground to aboveground must be submitted. <br />4. Manufactures specification sheets for the leak detectors must be submitted. <br />5. The plan received by this office indicates that the construction of this facility will meet <br />the Health & Safety Code Requirements that were established pre -Assembly Bill 2481 <br />implementation. If the underground storage tank and associated piping are not installed <br />by July 1, 2003 then the new monitoring system requirements and construction <br />requirements under Assembly Bill 2481 must be satisfied.
