9 0
SITE HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN
4.0 RISK ASSESSMENT SUMMARY
It is not anticipated that there will be any significant
or major potential source of exposures due to the scope
- of work to be followed on this project. The potential
of any increased risk of exposure on other workers or
the surrounding community is minimal. The basic
potential exposure source would probably originate form
airborne dusts, during the excavation activities, and
those dusts containing low level concentrations of VOCs
materials in the soils.
Due to this potential, the Contractor will have
equipment on-site to provide for dust control during
these activities, if it appears that dust control is
warranted. Also, perimeter air monitoring, to detect
potentially migrating contaminants, may be conducted to
ensure no hazardous materials are migrating to the
surrounding community.
N.
