These Bills require ` <br /> the inventory, inspection and permitting of all. underground storage tanks that <br /> contain hazardous materials, The San Joaquin Local Health District, Division <br /> of Environmental Health was designated as the enforcement .agency for the <br /> cities and unincorporated areas within San Joaquin County. State law provides <br /> for a fee system to cover the cost of implementing this state mandated <br /> s program. r=` <br /> Local fees (see attached Fee Schedule) , for these required inspectional <br /> services, will be billed on a yearly basis. The facilities Permit to Operate <br /> will be issued for a five year period. In addition to the yearly <br /> inspectional fee, this statement will also include a $56ttank. State surcharge <br /> fee. The State surcharge fee Per tank will be' charged every .five years or <br /> whenever the facilities permit is renewed or amended. All State surcharge <br /> fees will be transmitted by the Health District to the California Water, <br /> Resources Control Board. <br /> T6 apply for a facilities Permit to Operate, complete the attached Fee <br /> Worksheet and submit the' appropriate fees. Fees are due and payable Febryary <br /> 3, 1986. Fees received after March 6, 1986 are subject 'to 100% penalty. } <br /> In order to answer any questions regarding this Underground Storage Tank4° <br /> program, the San Joaquin Local Health Distict Division of Environmental Health <br /> has scheduled the following information workshops: <br /> 1. Thursday, January 30, 1986, 10 AM <br /> 2. Monday, February 3, 19869 2 PM <br /> 3. Tuesday, February 11, 1986, 2 PM <br /> All of the above informational workshops will be conducted at the San Joaquin <br /> Local Health District Board Room, 1601E. Hazelton Ave., Stockton, CA.
