The sample will than be <br /> transferred from the bailer into the appropriate laboratory sample containers. <br /> Soil Sampling froth Stockpiled Soil <br /> Soil samples will be collected by advancing 2-inch-diameter brass sample liners into the soil <br /> stockpile, after removing approximately 6 inches to 1 foot of surface material in the samele <br /> ocation. One composite sample(four sleeves to 1 sample)will be collected per approximately <br /> l <br /> oc cubic yards of soil. Soil samples for chemical analysis will be retained in the brass liners, <br /> labeled,and capped with Teflon sheets and plastic end caps. The samples-will then sealed chain <br /> nd <br /> lock bags,placed on ice,atransported to the laboratory accompanied by the appropriate <br /> of-custody documentation. <br /> (Laboratory Analysis of Solt and Groundwater Samples <br /> benzene. toluene, ethy <br /> UST samples will be analysed for TPHg, lb8=e, xylenes (BTEXxygcastes by EPA Method <br /> compounds), and MtBE by EPA Method 9015/8020,foTPB BTEX,oand MtBE by EPA Methods <br /> g2WR.
