Alameda#203
Burbank CA 91502
Re: Arco Station
3425 Tracy Blvd, Tracy
The permit application to retrofit an underground storage tank system at the above
referenced location has been received. The following items must be submitted and
deficiencies/discrepancies must be corrected prior to approval:
1. Manufactures specification sheets were not submitted for the dispenser pans,
dispenser pan sensors, sump sensors, annular sensors, line leak detectors, or
piping.
2. Pages 3-5 of the permit application regarding decontamination of the removed
piping were not completed.
3. A contractor, sampling firm, and lab must be named.
4. If a flexible boot is to be used for the underground to aboveground vent line
transition monitoring will be required.
5. None of the drawings submitted indicate that the secondary containment piping
will be terminated within the sumps/dispenser pans. Please specify.
6. The overfill prevention on the plans suggests that CCR 2635 (2)(A) is the method
to be used. If this mechanism is to be used then the ball float valves that are to be
installed must be set at 90% of the tanks capacity and not 98% as indicated on
TK1-drawing S.
7. Line leak detectors were not drawn or listed on the parts inventory.
8. Submit a detailed monitoring and response plan.
Please remit these corrections to me. If you have any questions contact Michelle Sterni
Le, REHS at (209) 468-9847.
Thank you,
Michelle Sterni Le, REHS
Registered Environmental Health Specialist
