6 1. Using the front plate as a template mark and drill all holes necessary for mounting the Bulkhead fitting. 2. Using Acetone, clean all fiberglass and fitting surfaces before installation. (All Blueline Bulkhead fittings are pre - cleaned in Acetone prior to packaging, however we still recommend cleaning prior to installation.) 3. Follow all instructions for using the cartridges, gun, and static mixers. Liberally apply a bead of Blue Bond 801 along the inside flange surface of both the front and the back plate. 4. Quickly install both Bulkhead fittings with the fill ports positioned at the top of the boots. The bonding agent will set up in just a few minutes so it is critical to a successful installation that this is done while the bonding agent is still soft. S. From the inside of the sump, install nuts onto Bulkhead studs carefully to insure that they do not cross thread. 6. Tighten all nuts and insure that the Bulkhead fitting is pulled tightly against the sump wall on both sides of the sump. 7. Once the Bulkhead fitting is tightened into place allow approximately ten minutes for the Blue Bond to setup prior to installing the FRP through the fitting. 8. Prepare FRP by sanding the surfaces that will be inside the Bulkhead fitting. Using Acetone clean off any fiberglass dust that results from sanding. S Insert FRP into its final position th!,ough the sump wall and into the Bulkhead fitting. 10. Install band clamps on the Bulkhead clamping surfaces and tighten to insure a good seal. I 11. Follow all instructions for using the cartridges, gun, and static mixers. Using Blue Fill 4036 insert the tip of the static mixer into one of the vent ports and fill the entire fitting until material begins to come out of the opposite fill port. 12. Within a few minutes the Blue Fill will cure and create a water tight sump penetration.
