■ BEAUDREAU BEAUDREAU ELECTRONICS Beaudreau Model 522T Monitoring System Can Monitor Up to 25 Sensors The new Beaudreau Model 522T Monitoring System provides gas station owners with a cost-effective alter- native to larger, more expensive monitoring systems. The Model 522T offers the same features of a typical monitoring system without the added expense of those Systems. The modular control system allows the end user to purchase only those components that are nec- essary for the site. As a result, the end user can lower the costs of environmental compliance without increasing their environmental exposure. The 522T System can monitor up to 25 separate sensors at the site, including tank gauges, interstitial sensors, dis- penser pan sensors, dispenser impact sensors and many other devices. The system is designed for easy upgrade and additional sensors can be added as required by regulations or liability concerns. The 522T provides the operator with an LCD readout and audi- ble and visual alarms that show sensor status, alarms and alarm. history. By using LONWorks® multi -vendor protocol, the 522T can communicate to any third -party device that also uses the LONWorks® protocol. In addition, the 522T is capable of communicating with third -party devices such as line leak detectors and tank gauges that provide an RS -232 or RS -485 serial data interface. These communication options provide the customer with the ability to easily upgrade a site as required by changing regulations or requirements. System interface and Shutdown Options The Model 522T Monitoring System can. provide the end user with a number of options for managing fuel. and dispenser impact alarms. All fuel and dispenser impact alarms are communicated via three gMarate outputs. These include: (I) an RS -232 serial data output for communicating to printers, external modems, or third -party systems, (2) N/C relay output for shutting down external relays that con- trol turbine or dispenser shutdown and (3) a serial data interface to the Beaudreau 522SRI Interface for controlling power to up to 16 separate fuel dispensers. Hard -Wired or Wireless Sensor Options The 522T Monitoring System provides gas station owners with both hard -wired and wireless sensor options. The new 50OCT Controller is a hard -wired network module that can receive alarm and status data from up to 5 sensing locations over a shielded, twisted- pair cable (the 522T System can operate up to 5 500CT modules and can thereby monitor up to 25 separate sensing locations). The wire- less 500C Controller can send its alarm and status data over existing AC wires to the 522T System -thereby doing away with the need for ripping up asphalt and concrete islands to install new conduits. The 522T control system can communicate with either or both con- trol network -thereby allowing the customer to choose the communication option that best fits the needs of the site.
