The variety of piping <br />and pipe connections available <br />allows for a wide range of pipe <br />routing options to meet any site design requirements. <br />Flexible piping has proven to be safer than conventional <br />rigid piping which requires numerous connection joints and <br />directional fittings. In addition, flexible piping has proven to <br />be considerably faster to install and more cost effective than <br />rigid piping <br />1.1 General Information <br />This product manual contains useful information about <br />all types of flexible piping products and their associated <br />connections, accessories and installer tools. It is required that <br />this manual be read prior to specifying and installing flexible <br />piping. The installation practices shall comply with these <br />installation instructions contained within this product manual <br />in order for the piping system warranty <br />to be valid. <br />IMPORTANT: OPW-FCS system components may only be <br />installed and serviced by a factory trained and currently <br />certified installer in order for the product warranty to be <br />valid. The use of non -certified personnel or any <br />deviations from these written procedures could result in <br />damage or leakage of the system and void the <br />product warranty. UL Listings <br />OPW-FCS's single wall and double wall <br />FlexWorks piping are listed with <br />Underwriter's Laboratories, Inc. (UL(D) <br />for Motor Vehicle Fuels. <br />FlexWorks single wall flexible piping is <br />listed under file #MH16678 and is labeled as follows: <br />PRIMARY CARRIER OF MOTOR FUELS. <br />FlexWorks double wall piping has both the primary and <br />secondary containment jacket listed under file #MH16678 and <br />labeled as follows: INTEGRAL PRIMARY/SECONDARY FOR MOTOR <br />VEHICLE FUELS. <br />
