KLEINFELDER <br />Upon completion of the excavation and remediation/disposition of the stockpiled soil, <br />Kleinfelder will prepare a closure report for agency review. <br />Kleinfelder has prepared this work plan amendment in accordance with the generally accepted <br />standards of care which exist in northern California at the time of writing. It should be <br />recognized that definition and evaluation of geologic and chemical subsurface conditions is <br />difficult. Judgments leading to conclusions and recommendations are generally made with an <br />incomplete knowledge of the subsurface and/or historic conditions applicable to the site. This <br />amendment, and the recommendations within, are based on the analytical results from 10 <br />borings --three of which were converted to monitoring wells.
