S. # 76 located 1030 S. Olive Street; Q. S. # <br />120 located at 9321 N. Thorton Road; and Q. S. #121 located at W. Louise Avenue all in <br />Stockton, California. The purpose of the observation was to verify that the backfill material was <br />tank backfill composed of either pea gravel or sand. <br />The procedure used in the field was as follows; a 1/2 -inch steel probe pipe was bored in the <br />backfill and the observation of the backfill was made by the undersigned engineer.
