State of California
Memorandum
To Captain Mike Wells Date : September 1, 1994
Military Department File No.:
Facilities Engineering
9800 Goethe Road
Sacramento, CA 95827
P-9 f
/
iq
From Department of General Services-Division of the State Architect
O
Subject: Precision Tank Testing- O.M.S. #22- Benicia
Stockton AASF
Precision tank system test results for tanks tested at your facility, as identified in the
report(s) are attached for your use. Since the test results indicate a leak rate of less than the
allowed 0.05 gallons per hour, the system is considered to be "hghf.
The test results must be retained on-site by the facility as specified by the operating
permit. The contractor has submitted these test results to the local permitting
agency.
This office is in a three-year program to provide tank level monitoring equipment (TLM) for
existing single-walled tanks. Until the TLMs are installed, each facility shall perform daily
manual liquid level measurements and inventory reconciliation during the interim. Since the
Underground Storage Tank Program is conducted under the jurisdiction of the local
regulatory agency, requirements may vary and communication with the local regulatory
agency should be maintained for information on their requirements.
Should you have any questions or require additional information, please call me at (916)
323-5819.
Mary ooper
Associate Waste Management Specialist
Underground Storage Tank Program
MC:rvr
Attachment
cc: Central Files
UGST Chron
