The Office of the State Architect <br />is the contracting agent for the State Military Department's underground tank <br />testing program, and they are currently contracting statewide for the removal <br />of permanent drop fill tubes which prevent the tanks from being tested. The <br />Stockton facility is among those facilities which have a permanent drop fill <br />tube. The Office of the State Architect has estimated that all the drop fill <br />tubes should be removed by the end of November or beginning of December. <br />After removing the drop fill tubes, the tanks.will then be tested taking an <br />additional two to four weeks for all the testing to be completed. <br />Should you have questions about the tank testing contract, please contact <br />Mr. Cody Begley, Office of the State Architect, Underground Tank Section, at <br />(916) 322-8249.
