SOIL SE?VTRY@
UNDERGROUND TANK LEAK DETECTION SYSTEMS
•
Soil Sentry Model 17-110A is a
low cost underground tank leak
detection system designed
especially for single tank sites or
other locations requiring no more
than four sampling probes.
It uses the same aspirated vapor
sensing technology found in
Genelco's larger systems.
In its basic configuration, Model
17-110A offers factory preset
operating parameters, a built-in
memory that stores six months of
daily records, and an automatic
start-up routine that doubles as a
manual sampling mode for taking
on demand vapor reading at all
probe locations.
At the end of six months, the
collected data is printed to become
part of the site owner's permanent
record and the memory is cleared to
begin the next six month cycle
using a separate service module
and printer.
The module and printer can be
purchased as optional accessories
by the site owner or the operation
can be performed by factory
certified installation/service
personnel.
The service module can also be
used to change the factory preset
operating parameters (alarm trigger
point: 500 ppm and number of
active sampling locations: 4) and to
reset the system's alarms after a
high vapor condition has been
identified.
For special site requirements,
Model 17-110A can be further
customized by factory service
representatives using Genelco's
advanced system programmer.
SPECIFICA TIONS:
DESCRIPTION:
Aspirated vapor type underground
storage tank leak detection system.
APPLICATION:
Single tank motor vehicle fuel
storage sites .
VAPOR SENSOR:
Metal Oxide Semiconductor
(MOS)
SAMPLING FREQUENCY.
Three samples daily at eight hour
intervals from each probe
location.
SAMPLING LOCATIONS:
Maximum four probes up to 150
feet from module plus
background probe for system
calibration.
PROBES:
Standard probe configuration:
3/4 inch i.d. slotted PVC pipe
inserted in backfill at ends of
tanks or 3/16 inch i.d. tubing
inserted in annular space.
Existing wells can be used.
TRANSPORT LINES:
3/16 inch i.d. polyethlyene
tubing linking probes and
module.
ALARM SETTING:
Factory preset at 500 ppm. Field
adjustable from 500 to 8000 ppm
using accessory service module.
(OVER)
GENELCO INC. 11649 CHAIRMAN DRIVE, #16, DALLAS, TX., 75243 • PHONE 214/341-8410 AWA
