w <br />E <br />fit 1�i <br />Summary <br />The TEansition sump box shall provide a contained environment for piping and fittings from above <br />ground product sources to underground systems, and an above or below ground junction and termination <br />box for both electrical and fluid handling. The transition sump shall contain environmentally hazardous <br />that might leak from piping terminations, fittings and flex -hoses contained within the transition sump box <br />,have full ultra -violet protection and be suitable for use in all climates and conditions. The transition sump <br />box shall be manufactured by Western Fiberglass, Inc. <br />System Specifications. <br />The Transition Box shall; <br />1.01 System Suitability: <br />A. Be installed either above or below ground or partially buried to suit applications <br />required, <br />f3. Be of sufficient size to allow all piping terminations, fittings, equipment, and flex -hosts <br />to be contained within the Transition Box. <br />C. Allow ample area to provide for servicing and inspection of all piping tcruainations, <br />fittings, equipment and flex -hoses within the Transition Box Assembly. <br />D. Contain any release of environmental contaminates from piping and fittings enclosed <br />within the Transition Box. <br />1.02 Construction Specifications: <br />A. Meet or exceed United States National Bureau of Standards PS -15-69 for Custom <br />Molded Reinforced -Polyester Chemical -Resistant Process Equipment. <br />B. Be constructed of materials that are not harmful to the emirotunent. <br />C. Be non -permeable by hydro -carbons and not weakened by exposure to these materials. <br />D. Be unaffected by ultra violet light exposure and not weakened by such. exposure. <br />F... Be suitable for petroleum products and blends. <br />F Have a thirty (30) year warranty. Txcluding Gaskets). <br />1.03 Release Monitoring shall: <br />A. Allow full visual and physical access/inspection of all piping fittings and equipment. <br />B.
