Tie down shall be furnished and installed according to manufacturer's <br />instructions. <br />2.03 LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM <br />A. The leak detection system shall consist of leak detection sensors, a leak <br />detection panel with an audible alarm and indicator lights to indicate the <br />occurrence of a leak in any part of either tank shell. <br />The leak detection system shall be UL listed for use with hydrocarbon fuels. <br />All system components except the alarm panel shall be intrinsically safe <br />for Class 1, Division 1, Group D hazardous atmospheres. All sensors, <br />liquids, cables, conduits, piping, hangers, control and alarm panels, ac— <br />cessories and appurtenances required for a complete installation per the <br />manufacturer's recommendations shall be furnished and installed by the <br />Contractor. <br />Fuel tank shall be monitored by the leak detection system. A method of <br />identifying the specific tank responsible for an alarm shall be provided. <br />Veeder Root TLS -250 or equal, with liquid alarm on outer wall, for 3 tanks <br />complete with cap and ring kit, probes, tank garage system, digital sensing <br />probes of sufficient length, 20 column printer thermal type install in <br />console, and all necessary relay, control box, manhole with cover. <br />2.04 SEALED MANHOLE <br />A. Fill spill protection manhole enclosure shall hold overfilled or drain fuel <br />product. The manhole shall have a seal which clamps to the bottom of the <br />manhole and seals around the edge of the riser pipe to prevent product <br />sweepage into the ground. The manifold port shall permit drainage into the <br />large tank through a valve at the bottom. Capacity of container shall meet <br />permit requirements: 5 gallon minimum capacity. The manhole lid shall be <br />heavyduty cast iron with a diamond treaded top. A buna 0—ring seals the <br />lid to the body for watertight protection. Manhole body shall be heavy <br />duty cast iron sealed with a zinc base primer to resist corrosion. Emco <br />Wheaton A719, CNI manufacturing, equal. <br />2.05 CAST IRON ROUND COVER AND FRAME <br />A. Service station fill line cover and frames. Alhambra Foundry Company, LTD <br />plate number A2098, OPW A-0717 or equal. 12" cover size, 14" overall top <br />and 3 1/4" height .frame. Alhambra Foundry Company, LTD; McDonald, or equal, <br />with Cal—Traur H-20 loadway. <br />2.06 MONITOR WELL BOX <br />A.
