<br />A. Gilbarco Inc. guarantees new Service Station Equipment manu-
<br />factured by Gilbarco against defects in material, workmanship, or
<br />published function in accordance with the provisions stated below:
<br />• Warrantyservice must be performed by the nearest Gilbarco Authorized Service
<br />Contractor qualified to perform service on the defective equipment.
<br />• Labor and travel costs incurred while servicing Gilbarco equipment will be paid
<br />at previously contracted rates to qualified Authorized Service Contractors.
<br />• Gilbarco will supply new or rebuilt parts to replace parts which are found to be
<br />defective within the warranty period. Parts returned to Gilbarco must be
<br />shipped with transportation charges paid and will be replaced with charges
<br />prepaid by Gilbarco.
<br />B. PUMPS AND DISPENSERS. Warranty on parts, labor, and travel is one year
<br />from date of installation or two years from date of Gilbarco's original invoice,
<br />whichever occurs first.
<br />This warranty excludes nozzles, hoses and fittings, nozzle -end swivels, retriever
<br />cables, filters, belt adjustments, meter calibration, customer -specified items manu-
<br />factured by others, and customer -requested reprogramming of equipment. Some of
<br />these items may be warranted by the manufacturer and any claims should be made
<br />directly to the manufacturer or to his representative.
<br />C. CRIND.
<br />• Version 1: DISPENSERS WITH FACTORY INSTALLED CRINDS: Dispensers
<br />with a factory installed CRIND will be warranted for defective parts, travel and
<br />labor for one year from date of installation or two years from date of Gilbarco's
<br />original invoice, whichever occurs first, except the receipt printer which is
<br />warranted for parts, travel and labor for the first ninety (90) days from date of
<br />installation or two years from date of original invoice, whichever occurs first.
<br />• Version 2: FIELD RETROFIT ASSEMBLY. The Field Retrofit Assembly is war-
<br />ranted for one year against defective parts from date of installation or two years
<br />from date of original invoice, whichever occurs first, except the receipt printer
<br />which is warranted for ninety (90) days from date of installation or two years
<br />from date of original invoice, whichever occurs first. Travel and Labor is covered
<br />for the first thirty (30) days from date of installation on the Field Retrofit
<br />Assembly and printer.
<br />• Version 3: CD MODULE WITH CRIND: The CD Module with CRIND is war-
<br />ranted for one year against defective parts from date of installation or two years
<br />from date of original invoice, whichever occurs first, except the receipt printer
<br />which is warranted for ninety (90) days from date of installation or two years
<br />from date of original invoice, whichever occurs first. Travel and Labor is covered
<br />for the first thirty (30) days from date of installation on the CD Module and
<br />printer.
<br />• CONSUMABLE ITEMS such as receipt paper are not warranted. The use of
<br />receipt, paper not specified by Gilbarco will void the printer assembly warranty.
<br />D. PUMP CONTROLLERS AND RECEIPT PRINTERS.Warranty on parts, labor,
<br />and travel is one year from date of installation or two years from date of Gilbarco's
<br />original invoice, whichever occurs first.
<br />• Exceptions are printer assemblies which are warranted for replacement, labor,
<br />and travel for 90 days from date of installation or two years from date of
<br />Gilbarco's original invoice, whichever occurs first.
<br />• Consumable items such as printer ribbons and paper are not warranted. The use
<br />of consumables not specified by Gilbarco will void the printer assembly warranty.
<br />E. SOFTWARE. Gilbarco Inc. warrants that Licensed Program Products and Gil-
<br />barco Products whose operation is controlled by Gilbarco Copyright -Protected
<br />Software shall be free of material defects and conform to current Gilbarco specifica-
<br />tions for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of shipment to Licensee/ Product
<br />Purchaser. Gilbarco shall use its best effort to correct such defects and to supply to
<br />licensee/purchaser, at Gilbarco's expense, a corrected version within a reasonable
<br />time after Licensee notifies Gilbarco in writing of any defects and provides the
<br />programs and/or instructions required to reproduce the claimed defect.
<br />This would not cover any modifications to the licensed program, the Gilbarco pro-
<br />duct, and/or connection to unapproved equipment made by any person or any
<br />defect caused by or otherwise related to such modifications/connections.
<br />F. SYSTEMS PRODUCTS.
<br />• Pump Controller and Cash Register Products manufactured by Gilbarco are
<br />warranted for one year from date of installation or two years from date of
<br />Gilbarco's invoice to the purchaser, whichever occurs first. This warranty covers
<br />parts replacement and labor and travel cost.
<br />• The Gilbarco G-SITETM system is warranted forone year from date ofinstallation
<br />or two years from date of invoice, whichever occurs first.
<br />Exceptions are Printer Assemblies and equipment produced by original equipment
<br />manufacturers which are warranted for ninety days from date of installation or two
<br />years from date of Gilbarco's invoice to the purchaser, whichever occurs first. This
<br />warranty covers parts replacement and labor and travel cost.

<br />G. HYDRAULIC LIFTS.
<br />• Surface Mounted Lifts. Gilbarco Inc. guarantees Surface Mounted Lifts against
<br />defects in material or workmanship for a period of five years from the date of
<br />Gilbarco's invoice to the purchaser. Gilbarco will repair or replace parts proven
<br />to be defective including labor and travel.
<br />• Inground lifts. Gilbarco Inc. guarantees Inground Lifts against defects in mate-
<br />rial or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of Gilbarco's original
<br />invoice. Gilbarco warrants that fiberglass and epoxy coated lift components will
<br />not fail due to corrosion or electrolysis for a period of ten years from the date of
<br />Gilbarco's original invoice. Gilbarco will repair or replace parts proven to be
<br />defective including labor and travel.
<br />• Replacement of hydraulic fluid and rubber pad component is not covered by
<br />warranty on either Surface Mounted or Inground Lifts.
<br />H. UPGRADE KITS. Gilbarco offers Kits which are installed at the purchaser's
<br />option to enhance operating features of an existing Gilbarco product. These Upgrade
<br />Kits are warranted for parts replacement for twelve months from the date of Kit
<br />installation. This warranty applies to Kit components only. The warranty status of
<br />the remainder of the product is unchanged. The Kit warranty is valid only if the
<br />registration card supplied with the Kit is filled out and returned to Gilbarco. If the Kit
<br />is not so registered by Gilbarco, its warranty will revert to that remaining on the
<br />product in which it is installed.
<br />I. SPARE PARTS. Gilbarco spare parts are warranted in accordance with the
<br />terms and conditions specified below:
<br />• Printed Circuit Boards, Power Supplies, Pulsers, Transmitters, I.S. Barriers,
<br />Electric Reset Assemblies, Gilbarco-manufactured Pumping Units, Replace-
<br />ment Retropacs, and Lift parts. Warranty is for replacement of these parts for a
<br />period of twelve months from the date of Gilbarco's shipment to the purchaser.
<br />• Meters. Warranty is for a period of twelve months from the date of Gilbarco's
<br />shipment to the purchaser. Meter calibration and sealing are excluded from this
<br />warranty.
<br />• Exclusions. All other parts not specified above are excluded from this warranty.
<br />However, certain purchased parts such as Mechanical Computers may be war-
<br />ranted by the original manufacturer. Gilbarco will pass on to its customers any
<br />warranty granted by the original manufacturer.
<br />Gilbarco will supply new or rebuilt parts at its option to replace warranted parts
<br />which are found to be defective. Spare parts warranty does not include payment of
<br />labor or travel costs.
<br />;�� tea. •
<br />• Tank Monitors 2 and 3. Warranty on parts, labor, and travel is one year from
<br />date of installation or two years from date of Gilbarco's original invoice,
<br />whichever occurs first.
<br />• Tank Monitor 4. Warranty is for replacement ofdefective parts for oneyear from
<br />date of installation or two years from date of Gilbarco's original invoice,
<br />whichever occurs first.
<br />K. GENERAL EXCLUSIONS.
<br />1. Problems caused by faulty installation are not covered by this warranty. This
<br />warranty applies only if equipment has been installed, used, and maintained in
<br />accordance with Gilbarco Installation, Operating, and Service Instructions.
<br />2. Use of service personnel other than qualified Gilbarco Authorized Service Con-
<br />tractors without prior approval of the Gilbarco Field Service Department will void
<br />payment of the warranty claim in question.
<br />3. Damage suffered by Gilbarco equipment subjected to accident, neglect, misuse,
<br />or abuse is not covered by this warranty.
<br />4. Useofnon-Gilbarco replacement parts, unless specified by Gilbarco, will void the
<br />equipment warranty.
<br />5. The unauthorized addition of non-Gilbarco items to Gilbarco equipment voids
<br />this warranty.
<br />6. The unauthorized alteration of Gilbarco equipment voids this warranty.
<br />7. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY INDIRECT DAMAGE OR LOSS OF
<br />PRODUCT OR INCOME.
<br />8. This warranty applies only to Gilbarco equipment installed in the United States
<br />of America.
<br />9. Warranty repair requiring rented equipment, overtime premium, lodging, and
<br />charter travel must be approved by Gilbarco, Inc., Warranty Administration De-
<br />partment, in advance of service expenditure.
<br />10. This warranty will not cover any pump and dispenser components in contract
<br />with fuels containing more than 511, methanol or 10% ethanol.
<br />11. Kits or parts which must be retrofitted into equipment to remove performance
<br />not acceptable to state or local regulatory jurisdictions.
<br />L. THESE WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER
<br />WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING THE WAR-
<br />RANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
