REHS <br />PROGRAM COORDINATORS <br />Margaret Lagorio, REHS <br />Robert McClellon, REHS <br />Jeff Carruesco, REHS, RDI <br />Kasey Foley, REHS <br />SR0061572 <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br />the application for a permit to replace the spill container of the diesel tank with an OPW Model <br />#1 C-2100C-DEVR spill container, and replace the three annular tank sensors with Veeder Root <br />794390-420 interstitial sensors on the underground storage tank (UST) system at the above <br />noted address. The permit has been approved with the following conditions: <br />1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br />District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br />2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br />prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br />3. Contact Jeff Wong at (209) 468-0335 to arrange the following inspection appointments <br />(a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that <br />inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval. <br />a. Sensor functionality: Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to <br />ensure that monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 <br />California Code of Regulations and the Health & Safety Code. <br />b. Spill bucket test: Verify minimum 5 -gallon capacity and pass a one hour hydrostatic <br />test (or equivalent). Proper drainage must also be verified. <br />c. Corrosion protection: Verify corrosion protection for direct bury spill bucket prior to <br />backfilling. <br />d. Secondary containment testing on the diesel tank at least 24 hours the concrete is <br />set. <br />Please be aware that the facility cannot receive fuel in diesel tank prior to the EHD <br />inspection and approval. <br />
