It may be <br />part of the Exclusion Zone, outside of the zone, or both. Equipment, such as sampling <br />devices, which must be decontaminated before being reused in an Exclusion Zone, may be <br />decontaminated in the Exclusion Zone. Equipment, such as hand auger, will be <br />decontaminated in a relatively uncontaminated area in a Contamination Reduction Zone beforl- <br />leaving the controlled area. Protective equipment worn in Exclusion Zones must also be worn <br />in equipment decontamination areas. <br />mom - <br />Me WITH fee - <br />The level of protection while performing tasks at the site will be dependent upon known <br />and/or suspected contaminants and job hazards to be encountered during the progress of the <br />works. The level of protection, and any upgrading or downgrading, will be determined by the <br />SSHO.
