under special waste manifests. Copies of the soil transportation and disposal documents are
included as Appendix E of this report.
3.0 Conclusions
3.1 Observations
The 2,000 -gallon UST and associated piping were found to be intact upon removal. No
visible staining was encountered in the underlying soils. No groundwater entered the tank
excavation. Analytical results from soil samples collected from the tank excavation floor and
from beneath the associated piping indicated no detectable concentrations of petroleum
hydrocarbons. Only one of the two soil stockpile samples indicated the presence of detectable
diesel fuel concentrations (near the method detection limit), the remaining soil stockpile
sample contained no detectable petroleum concentrations. Based on analytical results, it
appears that no further actions are warranted at this site.
3.2 Reporting Requirements
Copies of this report and its attachments should be forwarded to the following regulatory
agencies:
• Tracy Fire Department
325 East 10th Street
Tracy, California 95376
• Mr. Robert McCiellon
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division
445 N.
