Date: 1/16/95 <br />0 1 . 1 <br />Facility Name: Pacific Bell, 10 East 12th Street, Tracy Facility ID: TRACCA12 <br />Separation of Materials <br />This facility does not store material by type of quantity which requires special separation consideration. <br />The facility was designed to prevent fire or explosion in accordance with applicable National Fire Prevention <br />Association Guidelines and local fire codes. The material of construction is compatible with the product <br />stored. <br />The tank(s) is secured to prevent unauthorized inputs or withdrawals. <br />Monitoring Program - Fuel Storage Tanks <br />The monitoring program consists of an "initial" precision leak test using the Horner "Ezy-Chek" technique (or <br />equivalent) followed by in -tank product monitoring. <br />Recordkeeiq_ng <br />Recordkeeping is accomplished by a mechanized database that automatically polls the in -tank monitor daily. <br />If approved by the local agency, records will be retained in the database for a period of not less than three <br />years. Records will be made available to any agency of jurisdiction within 24 hours via fax. Requests for data <br />should be called to Pacific Bell's Sacramento Fuel Unit on 916-972-4377 <br />All recordable leaks and spills will be recorded on a Hazardous Material Incident Report, Form Number <br />FR -0023. <br />Emergency Equipment <br />A number of fire extinguishers are kept on the premises at all times. They are placed at strategic locations <br />throughout the facility in accordance with the protection requirements of NFPA 10. Additional emergency <br />equipment will be obtained as needed from Pacific Bell contracted hazardous material and hazardous waste <br />handling vendors. <br />The fire extinguishers are maintained and serviced by a professional outside contractor on a yearly basis. <br />A visual inspection is made by the facility wardens on a regular basis to ensure the adequacy of the emergency <br />equipment. <br />Contingency Plan <br />Unauthorized releases (leaks and spills) of petroleum products will be recorded utilizing the Hazardous Mate- <br />rials Incident Report Form Number FR -0023 and reported by the operator of the underground storage tank im- <br />mediately to the following: <br />1) County of San Joaquin 209-468-3420 <br />2) Office of Emergency Services 800-852-7550 <br />3) National Response Center 800-424-8802 <br />4) Pacific Bell Emergency Control Center 510-823-7777 <br />5) Environmental Management 510-823-9833 <br />6) Real Estate Department Reports Center 800-953-1006 <br />7) Respective upper management within group. <br />Pg . 7 <br />
