The <br /> binder is a guide providing for personal protection and emergency procedures for company locations <br /> during emergencies. The binder is developed and held by the Emergency Site Coordinator/Suilding <br /> Warden at each facility location. <br /> Additionally, the SBC Operating Practice 130 provides the following procedures for the Emergency Site <br /> Coordinator/Building Warden and Site Managers in the event of a hazardous materials incident at the <br /> facility. <br /> 1_ Identify and locate the problem. <br /> 2. Isolate, relocate or evacuate employees as required, <br /> 3. Notify emergency rescue personnel if needed. <br /> 4. Investigate the problem_ <br /> 5. Avoid inhalation of all gasses,fumes or smoke. <br /> 6. The "HAZARDOUS MATER<ALS/INASTES MANAGEMENT HANDBOOK" (HM/WM) is provided to comply with <br /> environmental laws and regulations and to assist managers In the protection of employee's health and <br /> protection of the public.welfare. This handbook gives our personnel a basic understanding of the <br /> regulations and other legal requirements pertaining to the management of hazardous materials and <br /> wastes. It identifies andprovides procedures for the handling, transportation, storage and disposal of <br /> hazardous materials/wastes found at SBC facilities. <br /> In the event of a spill or release, the Hazardous Materials Incident Report is to be completed by SSC's <br /> Environmental Management group.
