Incident Response Plan 0 <br />For Minor Releases: <br />If the release is a small quantity and service station personnel can contain the release immediately (and the release does not <br />leave the site or enter the environment), do the following: <br />1. Turn off the source of the spill. (i.e. turn off dispensers, pump, etc.) <br />2. Contain with absorbent material. making sure that the release does not leave the site or enter any drains, soil, or <br />surface water. <br />3. Clean up released material with absorbent material. <br />4. Place used absorbent material into an approved container for such materials. <br />5. For proper disposal of used absorbent, the dealer or designated employee will contact a licensed waste hauler to <br />dispose of the material in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations. <br />For Maior Releases -or- Breach in Secondary Containment: <br />If the release threatens to leave the site or enter a waterway, cannot be contained, or there is an injury to a person, do the <br />following: <br />1. Turn off the source of the spill. (i.e. turn off dispensers, pump, etc.) <br />2. Evacuate customers, asking them to leave by foot. <br />3. Call the Fire Department: 9-1-1 <br />4. All employees evacuate the premises. <br />5. Employees are to meet at a designated emergency assembly area. <br />6. Station dealer or manager to account for employees and any known customers at meeting place. <br />7. Dealer or manager should remain in the vicinity to provide information to the fire department, etc. <br />8. Notify: Regional Compliance Manager 925-277-2319 <br />Business Operations Manager (BOM): 925-277-2426 <br />Maintenance: TMC Central Dispatch 800-726-2312 <br />9. Attempt to contain with absorbent material, attempting to prevent the release from leaving the site or entering <br />any drains. <br />10. The Tosco Marketing Company Environmental Compliance Department will make all required agency notifications. <br />State Office of Emergency Services (OES) 800-852-7550 <br />San Joaquin County EHD 209-468-3433 <br />11. The secondary containment will be cleaned up with in 30 days. The Tosco Marketing Company <br />Environmental Remediation Department will investigate and arrange for proper waste disposal. All Repair work will <br />be authorized by: <br />David Camille North Coast Environmental Manager 925-277-2335 <br />George Goins Territory Service Manager 916-774-2942 <br />For Inventory Variances <br />If any of the following situations occur: <br />• Monthly variance exceeds 1% of throughput plus 130 gallons for the previous 30 days. <br />• The variance for one (1) day exceeds 100 gallons. <br />• The variance for two (2) or more days exceeds 50 gallons per day. <br />Do the following: <br />1. Immediately notify your BOM. <br />2.
