r <br />The purpose of this Health and Safety Plan (HASP) is to define on-site health and safety roles, health <br />and safety procedures, and discuss chemical and physical hazards, which may be encountered at the <br />project. <br />The elements of the HASP include procedures for personnel protection equipment safety, medical <br />surveillance, air quality monitoring, and general work practices. This plan also details the proper <br />emergency procedures, including emergency response and first-aid capabilities. Compliance with this <br />HASP is required of all workers and third parties who enter the sites while the above work is in <br />progress. <br />uqlmp•• • •. <br />Perform necessary SB -989 repairs. Remove dispensers number 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8 to gain access to <br />pans and replace all piping and electrical penetrations with non split blue line penetrations. Prep and <br />fiberglass the sump to collar connection inside the 89 turbine sump. Upon a succesfull pre-test reset <br />dispensers and perform the necessary SB -989 testing with Mr. Steven Shih of San Joaquin County <br />Env. Health or other designated agency representative. <br />It is important to protect the surrounding environment as it exists around the work area involved. All <br />trees, plants, and shrubs close to the work area will be barricaded if necessary to reduce the risk of <br />damage from construction debris and equipment. All efforts will be made to insure protection of <br />natural resources within the boundaries of the project and within the work area. All demolition and <br />excavation will be limited to the enclosed work area. <br />Dust control measures, in the form of water spray, will be used to prevent dust migration from the <br />excavation site. This is a generally accepted procedure by all Governing Agencies. <br />Generated hazardous waste will be handled and disposed of in Compliance with the following; 40 CFR <br />260, 40 CFR 261, 40 CFR 262, 40 CFR 263, CFR 1910, Title 22 Division 4, Title 23, Cal OSHA, and Cal <br />Haz-Mat Enforcement and Liability. <br />
