The soil stockpiles will be sampled on a systemic random sampling <br />grid, as recommended in EPA Publication W-846, 3rd <br />Edition (Test Methods for Evaluating Solid Waste). Select soil samples will be collected from <br />approximately three (3) to four (4) feet into the soil stockpiles. All soil samples will be <br />collected in new, four (4) inch brass sleeves. Each sleeve will <br />be covered with teflon tape and sealed with PVC caps.
