GENERAL NOTES <br />The references to Fuel Systems Consulting (FSC). <br />1. In the event of discrepancies between the drawings, specifications, or summary <br />scope of work, the scope of work will govern. Notify Fuel Systems Consulting at once. <br />Further references to Fuel Systems Consulting will be FSC. <br />2. FSC shall not be responsible or have control or charge over the acts or omissions, <br />construction means, methods, techniques, sequences or procedures, or for the safety <br />precautions & programs of the contractor, subcontractors, or any other persons <br />performing work on the project. <br />3. FSC has not been retained for review, supervision or administration of the contract. <br />Nor the certification of payments. Construction coordinator shall be the owners <br />representative during construction and until final payment is made. The owners <br />representative shall review the project and render necessary decisions for the progress <br />of the work. FSC has NOT been retainded to provide oversight during construction. <br />4. Contractor is responsible to see that work is done in accordance with all current <br />applicable national, state & local codes, ordinances and requirements by governing <br />agencies whether or not said codes, requirements, etc., are specifically shown on <br />drawings and/or called for in specifications. <br />5. The contractor shall protect all existing improvements to remain throughout <br />construction. Contractor shall repair and or replace, at contractors expense, any <br />existing items and facilities to remain that are damaged by the contractors operations, <br />to the satisfaction of the owners representative. <br />6. Unless delivery is by the owner to the job site, contractor shall deliver such <br />equipment, damage free to the job site. <br />7. Prior to excavation, determine and verify location of utility services in all areas to be <br />excavated. <br />8. The contractor shall comply with all pertinent laws, codes, regulations, UBC, <br />governing agencies & manufacturing installation instructions, unless greater <br />requirements are indicated and or are necessary for the safety of the project. <br />9. The contractor shall be responsible for notifying the CUPA as required for <br />inspections. <br />10. The contractor shall provide the owners representative with a construction schedule <br />prior to starting work. A qualified job superintendent shall be present during all of the <br />construction and mark any changes to the plans as an asbuilt. The asbuilts are to <br />maintained on a daily basis. <br />11. The contractor is to provide barricades and fences as required to protect the work <br />and provide a safe place for employees and others that have an interest in the work. <br />All other persons are not allowed on the worksite itself and those spaces shall be <br />barricaded and off limits to all other persons unless they have business on the worksite <br />itself. <br />12. The contractor is responsible for overall construction site cleanliness and removal of all <br />contractor/subcontractor refuse and debris and cleaning of the entire work area at the <br />completion of work. <br />13. Unless stated otherwise in the scope of work summary, all other procedures, <br />testing, materials and equipment shown on the plans shall be furnished and installed <br />by the contractor. <br />14. Contractor shall be responsible for repair for damage to the work of other <br />trades caused by his operations. The nature of such repair work must receive the prior <br />approval of the owners representative. <br />15. Construction material, assemblies and procedures are to comply with locally adopted <br />building codes ordinances. When a conflict occurs between such local code and <br />information shown on the plans, consult owner representative for resolution prior to <br />commencing work. <br />16. Contractor to notify owners representative if site conditions or dimensions disagree <br />with information shown on the drawings.
