Sent By: CPE USALCO; 916 372 0941; Mar -9-01 13:08; Page 11!13
I
110Positive alarm indication of any liquid in
double-wall steel tanks.
System indicators pinpoint alarm location.
► Simple to install.
► Two -wire connection to system monitor.
► Fast action helps prevent serious safety
and environmental problems.
The Veeder-Root Interstitial Sensor for use in Steel
Tanks detects the presence of liquid in the interstitial
space of a double-wall steel tank Liquid in the annu-
lus could mean a dangerous leak. When liquid is de-
tected, the sensor sends an alarm signal to a TLS -
350R, TLS -350, ILS -350, TLS -300i or TLS -300C
monitor. The monitor's visual and audible built-in
alarm indicators immediately tell you where the prob-
lem is, so you can quickly take action to help prevent
serious safety and environmental problems.
The TLS -350R, TLS -350, ILS -350, TLS -300i, TLS -
300C, TLS -2501 and ILS -250 systems feature internal
alarm relays that can also trigger on-site alarms for
even greater warning capability. The TLS -350R,
TLS -350, TLS -300i and TLS -300C alarm signals
from the sensor triggers a report showing the time
and the location of the alarm condition. This Informa-
tion is stored in the system's alarm history and can
be retrieved through the monitor's integral printer or
remotely through its data communications Interface.
The Veeder-Root Interstitial Sensor for Steel Tanks
can be used in the annulus of steel tanks with a
sensor riser pipe of 1.5" I.Q. or greater. Only two
wires are required to connect the sensor to a TLS
or ILS system,
Detection Capabilities
The presence of any liquid in the tank's interstitial
space triggers a Fuel Alarm.
Operating Capabilities
► Operating Temperature Range: -20"C to +70' C
(Hydrocarbons); 0° C to 70'C (non-fn9ezing Water).
► Storage Temperature Range: -40'C to +75°C.
► Available Cable Lengths: 16 or 30 feet
► Dimensions. 2.5" high, 1.50" dia.
Standard Components
OTY DESCRIPTION
1 InterstMW Glad Tank Sensor
2 Watertight Cord Grips
