Maintenance Log from 3/1/05 to 9/21/06 for subject store. Complete
records are available at Elite IV Contractors, including work orders and
invoices. Should you wish to review those records, Elite IV will be happy
to assist.
2. The liquid sensor in the 89 turbine sump was repositioned during your
inspection on 8/11/06. Elite IV knows better than to leave the sensor in a
raised position!
3. Every effort is made to keep secondary containment free of liquid and/or
debris. Collected liquid/debris is handled per Title 22 requirements.
4. There is no provision, procedural or otherwise, to manually override the
overfill prevention device. However, that does not mean that the
equipment cannot be illegally defeated. That appears to happen
frequently. Our carrier has been warned repeatedly to estimate loads so
that fuel deliveries do not allow final fuel levels to exceed 90% capacity.
5. Owner Statements for Change of Designated Operator for all Quik Stop
fuel facilities in San Joaquin County were mailed in July, probably to the
attention of Kasey Foley. However, one for the subject store is enclosed.
