Box A009
Stockton, Ca 95201
SUBJECT: Building 865 Closure Plan - REVISED
On June 24, 1994, we submitted a Closure Plan for Underground Storage Tank 865-
D1U1. This is your tank number 39-1945-22. On July 13, 1994, you approved the plan
as a closure in place "subject to satisfactory soil results on boring samples". We have
re-considered the project and will remove the underground tank. After consulting
with you, you agreed we should remove the tank. We also agreed that the existing
approved closure plan provides sufficient information to the County, and that
submittal of a revised closure plan for re-review and re-approval is not necessary.
The attached revised closure plan is submitted for your information. It was revised to
provide a safety plan and accurate information for tank removal and the disposal of
the tank and excavated materials. Please call Richard Henry at (510) 423-3641 if you
have any questions.
Sincerely,
C.
