Schedule test date with the local Regulatory Agency allowing a minimum of 48 <br /> hours advance notice. <br /> 2. Verify approval of test procedures and test equipment with the Hazardous <br /> Materials Inspector prior to test date. <br /> 3. Notify customer prior to test date of intent, duration of test and any estimated <br /> down time to equipment if applicable. <br /> 4. Perform state mandated SB989 Secondary Containment Testing per manufactures <br /> recommendation, NFPA or as specified and approved by local regulatory <br /> authority. <br /> 5. Provide a completed SWRCB "Secondary Containment Testing Report Form" for <br /> each site within 14 days for submittal to local Regulatory Agency within 30 days. <br /> Test Equipment: <br /> Sumps and Dispenser Pans: Hydrostatic testing using Caldwell Systems "Level Change <br /> Indicator" Third party tested by RHL Group Inc., State of California Registered Civil <br /> Engineers. Accuracy to 0.0025 ", increments at 0.01", 0.0075" and 0.005". <br /> Secondary Piping: Pressure test using Nitrogen gas and Thuemling Manufactures <br /> "Span" dial gauge, NIST certified, 0-15 psi with 0.5 psi increments and accuracy to 1% <br /> of full scale. <br /> Tank Annulars: Vacuum test using Precision Manufactures dial gauge , NIST certified, <br /> 0-30"hg with 1" hg increments and accuracy to 1% at mid scale. <br /> Testing Procedures: <br /> 1. Notify site personnel with intentions to conduct testing upon arrival. <br /> 2. Secure site and work area in accordance with safety procedures. <br /> 3. Open manways and make visual inspection to determine accessibility and/or <br /> requirements for Confined Space Entry. <br /> 4. Verify test boots are in place or notify onsite personnel of any additional work or <br /> change in scope before proceeding. <br />
