<br />Annual leak detection monitoring system certification testing and spill bucket leak testing of the
<br />underground petroleum tank systems 879-D1U1, 879-G3U1, and 882-DlU1 were performed by Mr. Brian
<br />Thornton of Thornton Environmental Construction Inc. of Milpitas, CA on September 21, 2009. All of
<br />the leak detection system were found to be in proper operating condition. All of the tested spill
<br />buckets were found to be leak tight.
<br />Per your request copies of the 9/21/2009 test results are being faxed to you at (209) 468-3433, and
<br />also electronically forwarded to you.
<br />Attached are the annual leak detection monitoring system certification reports and the annual spill
<br />bucket leak test reports for the 3 regulated Underground Storage Tanks (USTS) at the Lawrence
<br />Livermore Wational Laboratory, site 300. Routine maintenance and service checks, and tests of the
<br />monitoring equipment for regulated USTs are performed annually in accordance with 23 CCR 2630 (-d), 23
<br />CCR 2637 (12), and 23 CCR 2712 (b). The spill bucket leak tests are performed annually in accordance
<br />with g&s code, section 25284.2.
