Protocol Submittal -2008 Secondary Containment Leak Testing -5300 <br />CCs <br />BCC: <br />Michelle Henry, Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist <br />San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br />Submittal of Secondary Containment Leak Testing Procedures and protocol <br />The attached Secondary Containment Leak Testing Procedures and Protocol is being submitted <br />for your review. Per your request this submittal (and attachment) is being sent to you by email and <br />faxed to you at (209) 468-3433. <br />Secondary Containment Leak Testing is required by CCR Title 23, S 2637 (a). <br />The test dates and times will be Bent to you after contract arrangements have been finalized. <br />The Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, at its Site 300 Experimental Toot Site in San Joaquin <br />County, plans to leak test the secondary containment components On the following Underground Storage <br />Tanks. <br />8882 882-DIUI (Diesel UST) Double Wall UST Interstitial, sump, Double Wall Pipe Interstitial <br />B879 879-DIU1 (Diesel UST) Double Wall UST Interstitial, Sump, Double Wall Pipe interstitial <br />B879 879-G3U1 (Gasoline UST) Double Wall UST Interstitial, Sump, Double Wall Pipe Interstitial <br />Secondary Containment Leak Testing will be performed by Thornton & Son Electric which have trained <br />service technicians as required by CCR Title 23, 5 2637 (d), have a valid CA Contractors License that <br />meets the requirements of CCR Title 23, 9 2715 (i) (1), and have service technicians who have been <br />trained and certified by the manufacturer of the equipment components as required by CCR Title 23, <br />2715 (i) (2). <br />A copy of the Leak Test Results will be forwarded to your office after leak testing is completed, as <br />required by CCR Title 23, 9 2637 (e). <br />If you have any questions regarding the proposed leak testing Procedures and Protocol please contact <br />me by phone or email. <br />Regards, Hill Schwartz 7/24/2008 <br />William W, ('Bill) Schwartz <br />Water Guidance and Monitoring Division <br />Environmental Protection Department <br />Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory <br />P.O.
