CNI Manufacturi stallation, Operation and Maintenan anual (IOM) <br />Applicable to Executive Order VR -104-D <br />Summary of Guidelines for Maintenance Activities Required 2 <br />Component <br />Interval <br />Maintenance to Perform <br />Drain Valve <br />Monthly <br />Anti -seize compound must be applied to <br />CNI Mfg. RP12-PUSH <br />the shaft at least once a month to prevent <br />shaft from sticking. <br />NOTE: Reference the exploded view of <br />the drain valve in the <br />maintenance/installation instructions in <br />this manual for points that require <br />anti -seize compound be applied each <br />time the drain valve is removed. <br />Every 18 months <br />1. Unscrew the drain valve. <br />2. Unscrew the cap. <br />and <br />3. Remove screw and washer. <br />4. Pull the shaft. <br />5. Screw the cap back on until finger <br />tight. <br />NOTE: CNI Mfg. gasket kit DVK1 <br />includes a plunger gasket P/N RP12-9 <br />and O-ring P/N RP12-7. <br />2 These maintenance requirements shall not circumvent use of the manufacturer's maintenance instruction. <br />Maintenance contractors or owner/operators shall refer to the complete Installation and Maintenance Instructions <br />found within this document for each manufacturer's component. Ensure that all maintenance and torque <br />requirements are met.
