Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br />District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br />2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br />prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br />3. Contact Garrett Backus to arrange the following inspections (a 48 hour notice is <br />required): <br />a. One hour hydrostatic test (or equivalent) on the spill container. <br />b. Verify the drain valve operation of the spill container. <br />c. Verify corrosion protection on the fill riser and spill container before back <br />filling. (spill bucket replacement only) <br />d. Verify the five gallon capacity of the spill container. (spill bucket replacement <br />only) <br />4. Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal <br />supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of the <br />following: <br />a. One of several permissible valid, current contractor's licenses issued by the <br />Contractors State License Board (may be issued to the installation company), and <br />b. A valid, current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the <br />International Code Council (ICC), and <br />c. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the <br />component(s) being tested, repaired, or serviced, and <br />d. Each person installing or testing any component must hold a certificate of <br />training from the manufacturer of that component. <br />5. Qualified installers must possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an <br />individual physically present at the work site, at all times while work is being performed, <br />who possesses all of the following: <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
