Ambulance service is to be used in <br /> emergencies if the injured person cannot safely be transported by a Padre Associates, Inc., <br /> vehicle. When in doubt as to the severity of the situation, call 911. <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> Location: Kaiser Permanente Manteca Medical Center — 1777 West Yosemite <br /> Avenue, Manteca, California <br /> Hazards: Soil and groundwater containing petroleum hydrocarbons. <br /> Area Affected: Soil and groundwater at the Project Site. <br /> Surrounding Land Use: Residential/commercial <br /> Topography: Relatively level <br /> Weather Conditions: Mild with late afternoon winds. <br /> PROJECT OBJECTIVE <br /> The objectives of the environmental assessment program are to: <br /> 1. Preparation of a Technical Work Plan (TWP)/site-specific Health and Safety Plan <br /> (HSP) prior to implementation of the soil assessment program; <br /> 2. Completion of a pre-assessment site visit to position and demarcate the <br /> proposed drill hole locations prior to notifying Underground Service Alert (USA) <br /> for clearance of potential underground utilities. Additionally, Padre will utilize a <br /> private utility locating company (Subtronic Corporation) in an attempt to locate <br /> potential underground lines and structures not identified through the USA <br /> notification; <br /> 3. Advance two drill holes to approximate depths of 15 to 20 feet, and one drill hole <br /> to an approximate depth of 5 to 7 feet to facilitate the collection of soil and <br /> groundwater samples for chemical analyses; <br /> 10.0343.TWP-HSP- seasssment <br /> - B - 2 - <br />
