Diesel was observed in dispensers 3 and 5 today. Dispenser 3 piping above the shear valve <br />was dripping at one drip per three seconds. The amount of diesel in the dispenser pans was not enough <br />to trigger the liquid sensors. Any release from the primary containment that does not escape the <br />secondary containment and was cleaned up within eight hours of being detected shall be recorded with <br />the following information: <br />1. Operator's name and phone number <br />2. List of types, quantities, and concentrations of hazardous substances released <br />3. Description of actions taken to control and clean the release <br />4. Method and location of disposal of the released substances <br />5. Description of actions taken to repair and prevent future releases <br />6. Description of method used to reactivate interstitial monitoring after repair or replacement of <br />primary containment <br />Immediately record this release with the information required, and maintain it on site with the facility's <br />monitoring records. Submit a copy of the recordable release statement to the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department (EHD) by December 14, 2012. <br />Note <br />1. Fill out and return the Return to Compliance Certification form with the Recordable Release <br />Statement by December 14, 2012. <br />ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />
