The liquid was removed and placed in a hazardous waste tank on site. No visible leaks were <br />observed. Fill out a recordable release statement and send a copy to the Environmental Health <br />Department (EHD) by 7-23-10. Keep the original statement in the facility files. Replacement of parts to <br />the underground tank system will require a repair permit from the EHD. <br />The following applies to the Oil Change area tanks only <br />#11, 17,18, 20) The following underground tanks in the oil change basement do not qualify for the Health <br />and Safety Code section 25283.5 exemption since all exterior surfaces including the bottom cannot be <br />viewed: 500 gallon 5W-30 oil, 500 gallon ATF, 100 gallon purple product oil tank, 1000 gallon 5W-20 oil, <br />110 gallon 15W-40 oil, 110 gallon 1 OW -30 oil, 80 gallon 20W-50 oil, and 80 gallon 80W-90 oil tanks. <br />Apply for a retrofit permit with the Environmental Health Department (EHD) to bring the above tanks into <br />compliance with Title 23 California Code of Regulations and Chapter 6.7 of the Health and Safety Code <br />OR <br />Adjust the tanks configuration to allow visual observation of all tanks in the basement during the weekly <br />operator inspection. <br />Correct immediately. <br />Notes <br />#1) Fill out and return the following by July 23, 2010: Return to Compliance Certification form, a written <br />statement explaining how each violation was resolved, and supporting documentation. <br />ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE ($115). <br />THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />EHD Inspe <br />Re 'ved <br />Title: <br />EHDW3 Rev 06/01/10 CONTINUATION FORM <br />
