April 2013 re <br /> associates,Inc. <br /> associates,No. 1301-0621 13 EQ RS.GROLMSTSA <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> Location: Kaiser Permanente, 7373 West Lane, Stockton, California <br /> Hazards: Soil containing petroleum hydrocarbons. <br /> Area Affected: Soil at the Project Site. <br /> Surrounding Land Use: Commercial/Residential <br /> Topography: Level <br /> Weather Conditions: Mild with moderate late morning and afternoon winds. <br /> PROJECT OBJECTIVE <br /> The objectives of the environmental assessment program are to: <br /> 1. Preparation of a Technical Work Plan (TWP)/site-specific Health and Safety Plan <br /> (HSP) prior to implementation of the soil assessment program; <br /> 2. Completion of a pre-assessment site visit to position and demarcate the <br /> proposed drill hole locations prior to notifying Underground Service Alert (USA) <br /> for clearance of potential underground utilities; <br /> 3. Advance seven angle drill holes (one drill per approximate 20 feet of piping) <br /> using direct-push drilling technology to approximate vertical depths of 7 feet (2 <br /> feet beneath piping), or the depth at which practical refusal is encountered, <br /> whichever occurs first, to facilitate the collection of soil samples for chemical <br /> analyses; <br /> 4. Chemical analyses of one soil sample per drill hole (7 soil samples) for the <br /> presence of TPHd using U.S. EPA method 8015 modified, and BTEX and MTBE <br /> using U.S. EPA method 8260B. <br /> 5. Preparation of an assessment letter-report detailing the field methodologies <br /> utilized, summarizing the chemical analytical results, and presenting Padre's <br /> conclusions and/or recommendations for the Site. <br /> SITE SETUP <br /> A safe perimeter will be established at the work Project Site. The work area will be <br /> restricted to required personnel only. No unauthorized personnel will be allowed within the <br /> established safe perimeter, or will be allowed to enter the Project Site. Control boundaries will <br /> be marked with caution tape if necessary to maintain the established safe perimeter.
