Clean primary <br /> the surface of the secondary and primary pipe with <br /> acetone or isopropyl alcohol where the <br /> replacement reducer/test reducer fitting will be <br /> seated on the pipe. <br /> STEP z Wrap the split reducer/test reducer fitting around '; <br /> the primarypipe. Clean the split surfaces with <br /> acetone or isopropyl alcohol. Apply FastFuse glue <br /> to the split fitting and hold the split fitting together <br /> for at least two(z)minutes. Then leave it alone for <br /> another 4o minutes of cure time. <br /> Once totally cured,you can push the fitting onto the <br /> secondary pipe sufficiently so that the air test valve is <br /> positioned over the interstitial opening between <br /> secondary and primary pipe,if applicable. Rotate <br /> the air test valve to the=oo position as applicable. <br /> If no air test valve is needed,then simply make sure <br /> that the fitting sits over the secondary pipe <br /> sufficiently for a band clamp to secure and seal it <br /> completely. <br /> STEP 3 Completely tighten the two band clamps on both the <br /> primary and secondarypipeends ofthefitting.
